Spanish is fine!
If the others ones aren't too much trouble to find, I'd be interested in those as well.
Thanks!

Two people sent the book back to me (unread of course) with notes about Jehovah's vengeance. One person tore it up and sent me a note.
"Thank you for buying my book. You financial support to the apostate cause is very much appreciated."

there’s nothing special about being a woman here. And that means that female workers want to stay on the project,
Yeah because within the JW a construction site is the only place a woman is allowed to 1) do what men are allowed to do and 2) use their brains.
Everywhere else in JW only men are allowed to do and think (sadly they never really do), women just have to sit and be silent.
No wonder JW women like the building projects. Finally some feeling of worthiness and purpose. Finally they see actual results for their hard work (as opposed to field service).

Stopping Thought Stopping.
by Peeringin inim sure that many on this forum will be aware of the thought-stopping techniques that are taught by jws/wts to suppress difficult thoughts and overcome cognitive dissonance in favour of reverting back to belief in wts.. often in conversation these will be clear verbal cues that can sound unnatural during the course of a conversation, as though an individual is temporarily reading a script to overcome a difficult point.. my question to you all is this:.
are there any methods or resources that people are aware of that can help to break through a thought stopping mechanism when it is noticeably in effect?
a question perhaps, or technique that will encourage the individual to think the thought through in its entirety?.

Questions, questions, questions.
More specifically, questions that actually invite a person to think about what they believe or think is true.
Avoid making statements or even launch an attack by means of 'questions'. That will only trip them into shutting their minds.
Use questions to make them think. Questions may linger long after the conversation finished.
The goal is to make a person open their mind and think, even if just a little and for a short time.
Maybe next time it will be more....and more....until the avalanche in their mind can't be stopped.
They can only convince themselves anyway..

All contributions collected from this box will be remitted to the branch office to offset expenses associated with this project and the many other projects that are currently under way around the globe.
So, here is an new shiny extra box to donate money specifically towards this local project you really want to support. Then we take that money and use it to build our luxury HQ across the ocean, and pay off tens of millions in damages for child abuse victims....oooohkaay?
What's the use of an added box for a specific purpose, if the money ends up used in exactly the same ways as the money from the existing contribution box?

If we could travel at light speed, would travel be 'instantaneous' for us??
by Bad_Wolf inthis might be confusing to think about.
we know that as you approach the speed of light, time slows down, if you were in a spaceship, time goes by quicker on earth.
we also know that distances between planets and such are measured at 'light years'.

Higher speed means slower passing of time (as compared to time passing as seen from the reference frame of those with the lower speed).
This is actually a very poor explanation by the way 🤣🤣🤣 Naturally both frames of reference are moving with regards to the other, and in each frame of reference it appears that time outside the own frame of reference moves slower.
Regardless, any high speed traveler will appear to have aged less than someone who didn't reach the high speeds. The apparent paradox is solved because the traveler experiences acceleration, which causes asymmetrical time dilation (whatever that may be lol)

The problem with all the "everyone else aged" movie plots is that it ignores the return journey, where the reverse would be happening.
No. Higher speed means slower passing of time (as compared to time passing as seen from the reference frame of those with the lower speed). The direction of travel has no influence on this. So both on the way out as the way back the high speed traveler will age slower than those left behind.
Such is the weirdness and counterintuitive effect of special relativity.
You're right though that in the reference frame of the high speed traveler time will pass at the same speed as usual.
